Families Can Be Together Forever

Tonight I went to the LDC choir performance on the Family. If you haven't gone, GO. It is amazing! You can get tickets online at www.lds.org/events. It's FREE. The next showings are on April 29 and 30. Take your whole family!

Being at this performance made me realize how grateful I am to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the fact that I can be with my family FOREVER!

Meet my 'Lil Sis'

I'm writing this post as a shout out to Kaitlyn Michelle Sprouse for two reasons. One: she told me that I needed to start blogging again, and Two: Because I am especially grateful for her today. So why not kill two birds and share my thoughts publicly on my blog?

All I have to say is that my life would be sooo boring and very different without this girl. We have been friends since we were tiny, and we have had the funnest memories. Here are just a few of my favorites:

Making up "Kabooms", Figuring out which boys we could marry so that "we could be sisters", Sleepovers on the trampoline, barbies, Red Moon, making up clogging dances, ramen noodles and macaroni and cheese, water balloon fights, Fire alarms, "I have a dream", playing scum, all of our silly little fights, trying to get a CD unstuck from my car, playing Mario Kart till our thumbs hurt, running through the sprinklers, Jumping in mud puddles, going for drives listening to our favorite songs, night games, the lake, early morning drives to drill team, prank calling people in my front yard, all the times we laughed until we cried, Starburst collage, Dr. Jackson's (need I say more?), concerts, forts, Mountain Lion, ringworm, watching David Cook and David Archuletta's American Idol performances over and over, quoting anchorman...I could go on forever.

She has put up with me when I was in my mean/bossy stage when I did things like tattled on her to the busdriver when she was trying to sit by me in the older kids section of the bus, made her confess her love to a boy at the waterslide: "i like you, OKAY!?", and MADE her kiss one of our neighbor boys (you are probably wondering how we are still friends. I wonder that myself). She has seen me in my highest of highs and lowest of lows. She has been my shoulder to cry on many times, the person I can ALWAYS share a laugh with no matter what, someone I can always trust and count on, and someone I look up to and admire very much!

Love you sis!
